It’s a tricky little tune – I bet you can recall the melody………….

”So long…its been good to know you…so long…its been good to know you…so long…its bee good to know…but I got to be traveling along…. Lill & John Stichberry have told the club they are retiring and will be traveling along…literally…in their Winnebago….to locations yet unknown!  Letting them go will not be easy for all of us who have come to know them as friends and depend on them for their support.  We all wish you well….travel safely in your life’s journey…greet new folks with those smiles we have come to love…God speed…and don’t let all of us become only a fleeting memory.  Love you both.  Good Luck!

Since they are leaving the club the Stichberry’s have some club clothing for sale:  2 XL Club Jackets

Belated October Birthday greetings to Joe Abbatiello!

November Birthdays:

Many happy returns to Gustave Bartoli, Rick Berry, Fred Chidister, Sue Knox, George Mikalaski, Kathy Miller, and me!  Hope it’s our best year ever!

November 50/50 Winner

Congrats to new member Lana Wesley who won $30.00!  It’s ironic that many new members win the 50/50 as soon as they join!

Door Prize Winner

Pina Abbatiello was the winner of one of our door prizes…an array of spices. Hummmm…does that make her one of the Spice Girls?  I wonder if Joe will start referring to her as his spicy wife!  I think that falls under the “don’t ask-don’t tell” policy!

Our 2nd  door prize was won by Leonard Romansoff….just after he said he never wins anything!  Likely story Len!  It was good to see you at the meeting.  Len and his better half, Barbara, live in Mahopac , New York and attend our meetings whenever they are in town.  I understand that they will be moving to the shore on a full-time basis very shortly.  We look forward to seeing you more often!

If you have an extra few bucks one week how about picking up a little something and contributing it to the club as a door prize!  It sure would be appreciated.  Winners have received such items as wine, car-cleaning supplies, bird feeders, garden stepping stones, six-pack of beer and similar things.  If you want to donate a Door Prize please give it to Carolyn Brinker or any member in her absence.
