publications should be made to the newsletter editor for review at any B.C.C.
meeting or at Message from the President…. We
had a great turnout at the last meeting, with new members Tom and Carol
Brinker, and Michael and Charlotte Copes in attendance.
Bill and Dianne Shaw submitted an application and we welcome them as
new members and hope to see them soon. We
covered a lot of information at the last meeting and want to thank Ed and
Tonya Marcell who attended and gave us a lot of information on exciting
functions coming up.
I want to thank Jack Casto for his work on our website and hope that he
will give us an update at the next meeting.
December is going to be a busy month for us; our meeting will be on
December 4th at the Cottage Café in Bethany Beach (they have a
$9.99 prime rib special on Thursday nights) so I know what I will be
ordering!!! Our club Christmas party will be December 5th at the
Lighthouse Restaurant in Lewes and I hope everyone gets in touch with Marie on
that. The following Saturday,
December 6th, is the Millsboro Christmas Parade.

President Don Magee called the meeting to order at |
| 23 members were present:
Ray and Marie Myers, Don and Connie Magee, Doug and Cindy Riniker,
Peter and Marion Bon, Eric and Rose Leister, Dale and Lynne Buckwalter, Jack
and Linda Casto, Bill and Sharon Vernon, Tom and Carol Brinker, John and Lil
Stitchberry, Rich and Kathy Miller and Len Kozarski. |
| The President began the meeting with a welcome
to our guests, Ed and Tonya Marsell and our newest members, Tom and Carol
Brinker. |
| The President then asked for the Secretary’s
report. Connie Magee asked if there were any additions or corrections to the
minutes as stated in the newsletter and then requested that the minutes be
approved as written from the October meeting.
Peter made a motion to have minutes approved as written and Don
seconded the motion and they were unanimously approved. |
| Connie also announced that Sue Knox had a
birthday coming up on the 18th and Kathy Miller’s birthday was
on the 21st. |
| Eric read the treasurer’s report.
Connie made a motion to have the report approved and Cindy seconded
and they were unanimously approved. |
| The Vice President then read off two
applications. One application was for Michael and Charlotte Copes of
Preston, Maryland who were in attendance at the meeting. They have a 1959
red convertible and a 2001 red convertible.
The other application was for Bill and Dianne Shaw of Ocean View, |
| Rose stated that she had pictures from the
trip to the Dunnings’ boat and passed them around. |
| Marie stated that on Sunday, November 9th,
everyone was to plan on meeting at the WaWa in Millsboro at |
| Marie set up our Christmas party for Friday,
December 5th, at the Lighthouse Restaurant in Lewes.
It will be a cash bar beginning at |
| Marie mentioned that she and Ray would be
having an open house holiday party on December 20th. |
| Marie also mentioned that we would not be
having a social in January and probably not a meeting like last year.
She is checking on a trip to Three Little Baker’s dinner theatre in
February to see Smokey Joe’s Café possibly on February 21st.
The cost would be approximately $48.95 per person; the dinner is at |
| The President mentioned that we had received a
thank you from the American Cancer Society which was read by Bill Vernon and
given to Rose for the album. Doug
mentioned that next year our name would be on the shirts given to the
walkers as a sponsor. |

| The President mentioned the Christmas parades;
Rehoboth on Monday night, December 8th and Millsboro on Saturday,
December 6th. It was
agreed to do one parade and to participate only if we had enough cars.
Two sign up sheets were passed around, one for Rehoboth and one for
Millsboro. The Millsboro parade
was agreed on. The parade begins

| The President brought up the tree trimming at
Grotto’s on November 24th from |
| The President mentioned he had received a
letter from the Shorebird’s and only 3 Saturdays were available next
summer. Doug made a motion to do
this on |
| Ed Marsell from First State Corvette Club
mentioned that they were once again planning a trip to |
| Rich mentioned that since we had such a great
crab feast at Jimmy Lynn’s last year and since he also has a corvette that
we should offer him a free membership to the club for one year.
Rich made a motion on this and it was seconded by Dale.
An application was given to Rich to give to him.

| The 50/50 was held and $23.00 was won by Rose. |
| Two door prize tickets were drawn and Connie
and Eric both won a case of sodas. |
