NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM EXPANDS THROUGH YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS...

We call him “Mr. Ambassador” because of his dedication to the Corvette Museum !  We believe the title to be appropriate as Ed has demonstrated his advocacy for the museum through his very successful fundraising……and we congratulate him for his efforts.  Ed has encouraged his fellow members to purchase the $100.00 bricks in support of the building fund for the museum.  Ed has raised $1500.00 among his fellow members and we say CONGRATULATIONS ED!  At the February meeting Ed presented  Bill & Dianne Shaw with their numbered brick from the wall of the Corvette Assembly Plant in Flint , Michigan .

Just to update everyone about the fundraiser…bricks have been removed from the walls of the Corvette Assembly Plant in Flint , Michigan and are being offered for sale with all proceeds benefiting the museum building fund.  A club or individual can purchase a brick for themselves.  The brick has a numbered plaque on the front and the purchaser also receives a Certificate of Authenticity.  A club or individual can also purchase a brick which will be personalized for them and then mortared into a memory wall at the museum.  Proudly, Beachcombers Corvette Club’s brick will be included in the wall so be sure to look for it when touring the museum.
