 Message from the President….

I hope everyone that attended the Christmas party had a great time, I know Connie and I did.  The food, service and the DJ were just great. Marie did a fantastic job setting that up.

The Millsboro parade was cancelled due to the weather so I guess we will have to wait until next year to win our trophy.  I appreciate those that signed up, we would have had a good turn out.

Nominations for new officers are just around the corner and everyone should be thinking of possible nominations at the February and March meetings.  Along that line, I would like to give my special thanks to all the current officers and committee people for all the work to benefit the Club this year.

Hope to see everyone January 8th at the Cottage Café.  Connie and I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

                                                                                Don

bulletThe Vice President gave the activities report for Marie in her absence.  It was mentioned that money was being collected for the Smokey Joe trip to Three Little Baker’s on February 21st.  The cost is $45.95 and needs to be collected now.  Anyone not paying tonight should bring their money to the Christmas party the next night.
bulletRay mentioned that the Millsboro Christmas parade was Saturday, December 6th.  Everyone was to meet at the M&T bank at 8:00 .  Don mentioned that the rain date for the parade was Sunday at 1:00 with line up at 11:00 at the bank.  Don gave everyone the number to the Millsboro Chamber of Commerce to call to check on cancellation due to weather.
